TriVita Enhances Business Model to Support Launch of its New Product Line SCOTTSDALE, Arizona, January 8th, 2009 - TriVita, Inc. announced they are enhancing their direct-to-consumer business model to feature a Share-and-Earn program for TriVita customers in conjunction with the launch of their new Sonoran Bloom^TM product line scheduled to launch April 1st, 2009.

TriVita joined the Direct Sellers Association in 2008 to evaluate the possibility of offering a reselling business program to its Members. “After reviewing our long-term goals of taking our new Sonoran Bloom^TM product line international, we knew we had to change from an exclusively media-driven commerce model. This new channel of distribution will help us grow not only domestically but also in those countries whose media infrastructure and regulatory restrictions make growth very challenging,” said Michael Ellison, TriVita CEO.

“TriVita Members and Affiliates will have the opportunity to tell others about their personal product experiences, by sharing and sampling our products.” TriVita’s new Share-and-Earn program is backed by a significant compensation plan that pays out a true 70% on all Sonoran Bloom^TM products sold and consumed by new Affiliates for ninety days. This increased compensation opportunity is designed to help TriVita create new product distribution channels as well as helping the new Affiliate earn an extra $500 to $2,000 in their first 90 days.

“When we created the Share-and-Earn compensation program we took the new Affiliate into careful consideration knowing the nature of the high fall-out rate in Direct Sales. We want to change that by helping new Affiliates experience some level of success in their first 90 days. So we created a compensation plan that would reward the enroller and their team up to three generations but also reward the Directors and even the Presidential Directors for their support of a new and growing team in their organization,” said Marcus Ellison, Senior VP of Sales & Marketing.

TriVita is partnering with fellow Direct Seller Association Member Supplier VERTEX to implement the requisite internal restructuring. “We have selected VERTEX to support our new sales tax systems which include both software and ongoing support services. We believe that with the support of the Direct Sellers Association services and the long-standing successful relationships it has with its member companies, we have a very promising future for our growth goals,” said Don Kurtenbach, CFO of TriVita.

“The new Sonoran Bloom^TM product line - which includes a proprietary Opuntia liquid concentrate and Streptocantha gel - have significant health applications and benefits,” said TriVita Chief Science Officer, Brazos Minshew.

“These products offer our Members and Affiliates true wellness benefits by helping with detoxification and reducing inflammation. The source plants for the Sonoran Bloom^TM products are considered healing food plants and were used by ancient people in the Sonora desert. The target date for the launch of the new Share-and-Earn program is April 1st, 2009. Promotional and training events are scheduled in 30 cities to reinforce the launch of both the reselling program and the Sonoran Bloom^TM product line. TriVita is planning a special kick-off event to introduce the new Sonoran Bloom^TM product line and provide Affiliate training on the Share-and-Earn compensation program March 26th in Phoenix, Arizona.

A professor of mine once told me that newly graduated doctors have 100 cures for every disease. Experienced doctors often use one remedy for 100 diseases. It seems that this is proving to be quite true with our old friend, Vitamin C. - Dr. Minshew

The best Vitamin C
There are many types of Vitamin C. Some supplements contain diverse minerals while others contain related ingredients like bioflavonoids. There are good reasons for each of these additions. Yet, time has not proven the fancier forms to be superior to the natural, non-acidic form of Vitamin C (sodium-L-ascorbate).

The primary pathway for Vitamin C transport into the bloodstream is through the sodium transport channel. Now, sodium has a really bad reputation because many of us put too much salt (sodium chloride) on our food. But, the fruits and vegetables we eat are naturally very high in sodium. Our blood is naturally high in sodium. In fact, the sodium content of our blood is about 32 times greater than the potassium level in our blood. It is comparable to the sodium content in sea water.

New uses for an old remedy
Three articles in medical literature recently caught my attention.

* Toxins
The first one was a two-year-long discussion about the protective effects of Vitamin C against pesticides and other environmental toxins. This is important because we dump 2.5 million tons of pesticides into our biosphere every year (Environmental Medicine part 4, Dr. Walter Crinnon).

The discussion of Vitamin C and pesticides was published in 2007 and 2008 in the journal Toxicology and Industrial Health. It clearly shows the protective effect of large amounts of Vitamin C against common environmental toxins.

* Cholesterol
The second article appeared in the February 2008 edition of Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry. It demonstrated another benefit of Vitamin C in people with elevated cholesterol. You see, Vitamin C in the liver binds excess cholesterol and drains it through the bile ducts into the intestines. Fiber in the intestines soaks up the cholesterol and carries it out of the body. If our diet does not have enough fiber to eliminate the cholesterol we will likely reabsorb it. In fact, most of the cholesterol in our bloodstream has been excreted and reabsorbed numerous times.

Vitamin C binds cholesterol and takes it out of the liver. Vitamin C also helps protect the lining of blood vessels - making them like Teflon to sticky LDL cholesterol. Instead of damaging the blood vessels, oxidized LDL slides off the walls of your arteries and is carried back to the liver by HDL cholesterol.

* Blood pressure
The third article came from the October 2008 Journal of Clinical and Experimental Hypertension. It clearly showed how large reservoirs of Vitamin C can help reduce high blood pressure. Antioxidants (especially Vitamin C) may reduce poisons in the tissues called aldehydes - think of the poison formaldehyde as a good example. Poisons drive up blood pressure; Vitamin C helps drive down poisons and can result in blood pressure reduction.

Conclusion

As you review your diet of the past week, ask yourself, “Did I eat the right amount of fruits and vegetables every day?” (Five servings for children, seven servings for women and nine servings for men.) If you can say “yes” – congratulations! If you are like most people you did not reach that goal. And, if you are like most of us, you did not eat all of your fruits and vegetables from an organic source; so, the fruits and vegetables may have been lacking in nutrition. Staying on top of our nutrient reserve is important. Our bodies make millions of new cells every day: heart cells, brain cells, bone and blood cells. Every time a cell dies it should be replaced. Vitamins C and B-12 are notable exceptions because our ability to absorb them decreases with age. Even more important than the level of the nutrients is the balance of nutrients. The correct proportion of nutrients needs to be maintained. Otherwise, the supplement will create a greater imbalance than it was meant to solve.

A good example of this is the Norwegian Vitamin Trial for heart health (NORVIT). This trial involved a vitamin cocktail that had the right ingredients. But it was so horribly out of balance that it resulted in the deaths of some of the participants by creating severe nutrient imbalances.

How can you tell if your multivitamin supplement is imbalanced? One way is to notice your urine after you take the supplement. If it turns bright yellow or orange after taking a vitamin you can suspect that this supplement is imbalanced. Now, to be fair, the person taking the vitamin may be imbalanced instead. This happens if someone has eaten an imbalanced diet for some time. Still, it is more often the supplement that is imbalanced, not the person.

Everyone that I know is looking to make a better ROI (return on investment) in 2009. After getting hammered in the stock market and real estate market in 2008, many people’s portfolios are way down. As we have been reading about in the media, there were people who lost money in Madoff’s big ponzi scheme, too.

The real goal that most people who work from home are looking for is to produce Residual Income.

What I mean by residual income is money that continues to come in month after money and year after year. You don’t have to wonder or worry if it’s really coming. When I looked up the word “residual” on Wikipedia, it states: “Residual Payment, in business, one of an ongoing stream of payments for the completion of past achievements”. I think this pretty much sums it all up. Getting ongoing (which does not stop) payments from what you did in the past. In other words, do something right the first time and then get paid for it over and over again.

Residual income is great because it allows you to have the freedom to do what you choose to do whether it’s travel, help family and friends, take time off, do charity work, or anything else that you want. Residual income can be used to build your net worth. Use the residual income to buy stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real estate, gold, silver, commodities, or all of the above.

Residual income also offers something that you cannot put a price tag on which is piece of mind. When you know that a regular check of payment is being sent to you on an ongoing basis, you sleep a whole lot better at night. I can tell you this from experience.

I have worked my TriVita business for a relative short period of time and I now have a real residual income in which I get paid every month on the 10th and 25th just like clockwork. Some months they pay me a day or two early depending if it’s the weekend or a holiday. For the few hours weekly that I work TriVita, I get paid residual income every 15 days. I could buy a plane ticket to anywhere that I want (paid for by TriVita) and be gone for over a month and still get paid the residual income that TriVita pays.

Don’t misunderstand what I am writing. I am not trying to tell you that all you have to do is join the Mike Riedmiller Team which is the fastest growing team in the entire company and the money will start flowing in right away. There are many advantages to having a TriVita home business. The first is that flexibility that it offers. Like most home businesses, you can set your own time schedule and you can choose the people that you work with. What I really like about the TriVita home business is that in addition to this, I can buy the future commission rights to customers. These are real customers that have come from TriVita’s cooperative marketing media advertising. Anytime they make a future purchase from the company, I get paid. There is no other home business like this that I am aware of. And better yet, TriVita has been in business since 1999 so it has a very solid track record.

Another advantage to having a home business are the potential tax breaks. Many people are able to deduct the expenses from their home business and save a substantial amount of money on their taxes. How would you like to be able to save money when you travel (as long as it’s for your home business)? There are many other ways to save. The income that you build up in a TriVita home business is residual income based. TriVita Enhances Business Model to Support Launch of its New Product Line

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona, January 8th, 2009 - TriVita, Inc. announced they are enhancing their direct-to-consumer business model to feature a Share-and-Earn program for TriVita customers in conjunction with the launch of their new Sonoran Bloom^TM product line scheduled to launch April 1st, 2009.

TriVita joined the Direct Sellers Association in 2008 to evaluate the possibility of offering a reselling business program to its Members.

“After reviewing our long-term goals of taking our new Sonoran Bloom^TM product line international, we knew we had to change from an exclusively media-driven commerce model. This new channel of distribution will help us grow not only domestically but also in those countries whose media infrastructure and regulatory restrictions make growth very challenging,” said Michael Ellison, TriVita CEO. “TriVita Members and Affiliates will have the opportunity to tell others about their personal product experiences, by sharing and sampling our products.”

TriVita’s new Share-and-Earn program is backed by a significant compensation plan that pays out a true 70% on all Sonoran Bloom^TM products sold and consumed by new Affiliates for ninety days. This increased compensation opportunity is designed to help TriVita create new product distribution channels as well as helping the new Affiliate earn an extra $500 to $2,000 in their first 90 days.

“When we created the Share-and-Earn compensation program we took the new Affiliate into careful consideration knowing the nature of the high fall-out rate in Direct Sales. We want to change that by helping new Affiliates experience some level of success in their first 90 days. So we created a compensation plan that would reward the enroller and their team up to three generations but also reward the Directors and even the Presidential Directors for their support of a new and growing team in their organization,” said Marcus Ellison, Senior VP of Sales & Marketing.

TriVita is partnering with fellow Direct Seller Association Member Supplier VERTEX to implement the requisite internal restructuring.

“We have selected VERTEX to support our new sales tax systems which include both software and ongoing support services. We believe that with the support of the Direct Sellers Association services and the long-standing successful relationships it has with its member companies, we have a very promising future for our growth goals,” said Don Kurtenbach, CFO of TriVita.

“The new Sonoran Bloom^TM product line - which includes a proprietary Opuntia liquid concentrate and Streptocantha gel - have significant health applications and benefits,” said TriVita Chief Science Officer, Brazos Minshew.

“These products offer our Members and Affiliates true wellness benefits by helping with detoxification and reducing inflammation. The source plants for the Sonoran Bloom^TM products are considered healing food plants and were used by ancient people in the Sonora desert. Not only will this story be told by TriVita, but also by our Members and Affiliates, who we believe will want to share these discoveries and results with people all over the world,” said Minshew.

The target date for the launch of the new Share-and-Earn program is April 1st, 2009. Promotional and training events are scheduled in 30 cities to reinforce the launch of both the reselling program and the Sonoran Bloom^TM product line. TriVita is planning a special kick-off event to introduce the new Sonoran Bloom^TM product line and provide Affiliate training on the Share-and-Earn compensation program March 26th in Phoenix, Arizona.
